We offer a range of services including Property Valuation, Estate Agency, Property Management, Facilities Management, and Real Estate Advisory. Our client base is constantly growing, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards in all our operations. Our team of dedicated professionals is experienced and provides top-notch services in Zambia.
Our staff and directors have over 20 years of experience in successful property valuation, property management, real estate agency, and asset management across the Zambian property market and beyond. We work closely with our clients to quickly recognize and adapt to their needs and the constantly changing market conditions. As a result, we can provide relevant solutions within this highly dynamic and challenging investment property industry.
UPmarket has a proven track record of successfully handling various assignments related to valuation services, property development consultancy, and property investment advisory services in both the public and private sectors in Zambia. We are locally registered with Corporate Membership with the Zambia Institute of Valuation Surveyors (ZIVS) and the Zambia Institute of Estate Agents (ZIEA).

OUR SERVICES
Property Valuation
Our valuations are set out in accordance with the latest edition of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, London, UK, “Appraisal and Valuation Manual”, as recognized by the Surveyors’ Institute of Zambia under the Valuation Chapter.
We have been engaged to undertake valuations of property for various purposes, including, Resettlement, Collateral, Accounting, Sales, Rental, Insurance ,etc. Properties valued include land and buildings, movable assets, farms, Plant and Machinery etc. We are Registered Valuation Surveyors with Valuation Surveyors Registration Board (VSRB) in Zambia.
Estate Agency and Property Development
We offer a full range of residential/commercial sales and letting services and market advice for various properties including houses and flats.We also advise on various residential/commercial developments, from project inception through to completion and sale or letting.
We are currently working on various property development projects with the most notable one being the new office development for the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) in the Mass Media office node of Lusaka. UPmarket is offering property development advisory services to EIZ, from inception and project design to the management of the office block that will offer approximately 4,000 square metres of flexible office space.
Property and Facilities Management
UPmarket has a philosophy of aggressively and professionally managing the assets of our clients to maximize the assets’ value. We utilize cutting edge strategies to create; add and/or protect the value of our clients’ assets whilst increasing revenue, improving operational efficiency and reducing overall costs.
We analyse our properties from a strategic platform aimed at enhancing the assets’ value whilst improving tenant retention and the service provided to all stakeholders. Key to this is the Financial, Administrative and Physical Management of the properties.

We offer our clients investment media comparison and performance related analysis.

Our Projects
Major Revaluation of ZESCO Limited Assets
UPmarket was appointed in 2017/18 to undertake a major Revaluation of ZESCO Limited Assets under Generation, Distribution and Transmission Directorates. ZESCO is a state-owned power utility company with assets spread across the ten provinces of Zambia. The assignment was successfully undertaken with the core areas of focus being, Market and Insurance Values determination for buildings, condition assessment and preparation of the Fixed Asset Register in compliance with Zambian legislation and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Telecommunication Towers and related infrastructure for IHS Zambia
UPmarket has over the years been retained to value the passive telecommunication towers and related infrastructure for IHS Zambia on behalf of Standard Chartered Bank, UK.
Property development Projects - Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
UPmarket is working on various property development projects with the most notable being the office development for the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) in the Mass Media office node. UPmarket is offering leasing and management services to EIZ for their flagship office complex.
